STG in new Headquarters (08/09/2008)
Strategic Thought Group (STG) moves into headquarters in Maidenhead, Berkshire at the heart of the Thames Valley ‘technology corridor’.
STG, the risk-reward company and creator of risk management software Active Risk Manager, has moved its UK headquarters from Wimbledon to the centre of Maidenhead, Berkshire as it cements recent successes and prepares for future growth.
Martin Metcalf, Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Thought commented, “We now have state of the art facilities to be proud of. The new offices have been modified to our exact requirements to allow us to host and interact with our blue-chip customers in a fitting environment. This customer input is vital as we develop our industry-leading risk-reward solutions for the future.”
Andrew Darby, STG’s Chief Financial Officer and executive sponsor for the move stated, “It is great to see our months of planning come to fruition. We can now offer a 21st century working environment for our growing workforce and tap into the pool of skilled technology resources in this high-tech area. Our location, adjacent to fast rail services to central London, means we can easily keep our links to the capital’s business community.
The Maidenhead HQ joins STG facilities in Washington DC located in a similar technology zone which is close to many of STG’s global Aerospace & Defence customers.
“The last year has seen STG growing in success and we have won many new customers. I have been augmenting the existing strong team with experienced staff, many with experience gained from other Thames Valley high-tech players. Our move to these new headquarters sees us put the final piece of the jigsaw in place and begins a new era for Strategic Thought,” concluded Metcalf.
