NorthWestern selects ARM (20/03/06)
Strategic Thought Inc announced today that NorthWestern Corporation, one of the largest providers of electricity and natural gas in the northwest quadrant of the United States has signed a contract to implement Active Risk Manager as part of its new enhanced enterprise risk management (ERM) initiative.
Active Risk Manager, a web based enterprise risk management software solution, has been selected to replace an existing manual process. The new ERM process will assist NorthWestern in terms of its risk compliance requirements and improve information and communication mechanisms to allow the organisation to develop a successful and proactive Operational Risk Management program to deliver clear economic rewards and business benefits.
The initial installation of Active Risk Manager will take place in the NorthWestern Operations Office in Butte, Montana.
