Expansion of new Washington DC office of Strategic Thought continues with the appointment of Five US nationals.

UK based technology company, Strategic Thought Group PLC, opened its first office in the Greater Washington DC area at the end of 2004. Following an extremely successful first six months the company has hired five US nationals to support domestic customers and has further short term and medium term recruitment plans.

Strategic Thought’s Active Risk Manager software product is well positioned in the growth area of enterprise and project risk management. Customers include major US defence contractors such as Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman in addition to NASA and the Department of Homeland Security. In Europe Active Risk Manager is in use in the construction, oil and gas and transportation industries in addition to the UK MOD and several defence contractors.

The five new recruits in the Washington DC office are Lita Cuen - Senior Risk Consultant, Jenna Youssef - Risk Consultant, Kim O’Hanlon - Support Analyst and Susan Cantanzaro - Office Administration Support and David Gogolkiewicz as Business Development Manager.

With over 15 years of Federal Government service including the Department of Treasury, Department of Defense and United States Air Force, Lita Cuen has an exceptional understanding of US Government customers. Lita’s primary role will be to assist Active Risk Manager customers to assess their risk management processes, provide recommendations for improvement and guide them in the best way to utilize and implement Active Risk Manager. Lita will also be responsible for the management of a growing team of Risk Management Consultants.

Risk Consultant, Jenna Youssef was previously working as a consultant on a Department of Homeland Security program, responsible for implementing risk management processes. Support Analyst, Kim O’Hanlon was previously a Senior Helpdesk Technician at the US Department of Treasury. Susan Cantanzaro, joined Strategic Thought following many years in executive administrator roles in commercial organisations. David Gogolkiewicz is an experienced sales executive who will focus on the oil and gas industry.
